COVID-19 Update 20 July 2020

Due to the small cluster of COVID that is beginning to appear within the Batemans Bay locality it is prudent for Bay Theatre Players Inc. to follow our COVID Safe Policy and cease any face to face theatre activities for at least the next two weeks.

This will include rehearsals (that will move back to being remote at home), workshops and meetings (that will continue online).  At all times during this crisis we, as a group, have followed all government directives and will continue to do so.

This cessation of activity will allow us to monitor the situation and any possible spread within the wider community and gauge how we can then resume our restricted activities while keeping our membership safe.

Sam Haslam

President

As the NSW Government allows the reopening of community activities, Bay Theatre Players Inc will, in line with restrictions, recommence various theatre groups.  All activities will comply with current NSW Health Directives including social distancing and the 4 sq/m per person requirement.

No one is to attend any Bay Theatre Players Inc activity if they have an elevated temperature, sore throat, a cough, flu-like symptoms OR for a period of fourteen days from when they have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID19 or from when they have returned from overseas or any identified coronavirus 'hot-spot'.
